These Terms of Service govern the use of OAK DIRECT’s website and services. By submitting a booking request or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Service Description
OAK DIRECT provides private, one-vehicle driveaway services for transporting customer vehicles from a pickup location to a delivery destination. OAK DIRECT is not a carrier, broker, or multi-vehicle transport company. Each delivery is handled individually by a professional driver.
Bookings & Deposits
A booking is confirmed once a 50% deposit of the total quoted price is received. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your requested delivery date, travel arrangements, and service slot.
Final payment is due upon delivery and must be paid before the vehicle keys are released.
Pricing & Mileage
OAK DIRECT offers a flat-rate Signature service that includes up to 1,250 miles of driving. Any mileage beyond 1,250 miles is charged at a per-mile rate based on the vehicle’s engine type.
All prices are provided in writing prior to booking.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:

Provide accurate vehicle and contact information

Ensure the vehicle is in safe, drivable condition

Maintain valid registration and insurance on the vehicle

Remove personal items and valuables prior to pickup

Make the vehicle available at the agreed pickup time
OAK DIRECT is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
Vehicle Condition
The vehicle must be roadworthy, properly insured, and safe to operate. OAK DIRECT reserves the right to refuse pickup if the vehicle is unsafe or materially different from what was described.
Delivery & Delays
Delivery times are estimated and may be affected by weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, or travel delays. OAK DIRECT will communicate updates as they occur.
Liability & Insurance
OAK DIRECT maintains non-owned auto liability insurance, general liability insurance, and emergency roadside assistance during deliveries. This coverage applies while your vehicle is in our care during transport.
Customers are required to maintain their own insurance coverage on the vehicle during the delivery period.
Breakdowns & Roadside Events
If a mechanical issue or breakdown occurs, OAK DIRECT will coordinate roadside assistance. OAK DIRECT is not responsible for mechanical failures, wear and tear, or pre-existing issues.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed. If a customer cancels after booking, the deposit is forfeited due to travel and scheduling commitments.
Limitation of Liability
OAK DIRECT is not responsible for:
Normal mechanical wear
Pre-existing damage
Acts of God, weather, or road hazards
Delays outside of our control
Liability is limited to the coverage provided by our insurance policies.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
